Tickwire MCP server
Let Claude or ChatGPT read and trade your MetaTrader accounts, with the final say
Hosted MetaTrader 4 and 5 MCP — let Claude or ChatGPT read accounts, quotes, positions and history and, if you allow it, place, modify and close orders on any MT4/MT5 broker, with idempotent orders and an audit log. Hosted at api.tickwire.io/mcp (OAuth or agent key).
Tickwire is a hosted API for MetaTrader 4 and 5 that runs a real MT4 or MT5 terminal in the cloud for each trading account, on any broker that offers the platform, and exposes it as a hosted MCP server at https://api.tickwire.io/mcp. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another remote-MCP app by signing in with Tickwire, then choose which accounts it may use and whether it may only look or also trade. Agents can read account health and balances, quotes, symbol specs, candles, open positions, pending orders and history; with trade permission they can place, modify and close orders. Every order takes an idempotency key so a retry never fires twice, an outcome that can't be confirmed is reported as unknown rather than guessed, and every trading call carries a reason that lands in an audit log the agent can read back. Nothing needs to run on your computer.
Look only, or look and trade
You pick per account at sign-in. A read-only agent never even sees place_order; with trade permission it can place, modify and close orders.
Orders that don't double-fire
Every order takes an idempotency key, unconfirmed outcomes come back as unknown, and get_trade_status looks a trade up by its key before any retry.
Every trade explained
Trading tools require a reason, recorded with the outcome in an audit log; get_audit_log lets the agent read its own trail.
Who it’s for. Traders, prop-firm tooling and fintech builders who want an AI assistant to monitor MT4/MT5 accounts or act on them — with explicit permissions and a full record of every trade.

How to read this: tool names here are observed from a live tools/list handshake. The Risk label is a heuristic inferred from the tool name (write/destructive verbs), not from executing the tool — a conservative guess, not a verified capability. We never escalate risk from a description. Found one that's wrong? Tell us — we fix on report.
