Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data MCPExplorer collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a directory of MCP servers and a lightweight account for people who submit or own listings.

MCPExplorer (“we”, “us”) operates mcpexplorer.com, a curated index of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@intervals.so.
Most of the site is public and needs no account. We only collect personal data in these cases:

We use your data solely to: authenticate you and keep you signed in; show you the status of servers you’ve submitted; let verified owners edit their listings; review submissions and claims; prevent abuse; and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use the limited profile data received from GitHub or Google for any purpose beyond operating your MCPExplorer account.
Authentication is handled through GitHub and Google OAuth via our authentication provider, Supabase. When you choose a provider, you authenticate on their site and they return a limited profile (your email, and a name/username and avatar) — we never see your password. Your use of GitHub and Google is also governed by their own privacy policies. You can revoke MCPExplorer’s access at any time from your GitHub or Google account settings.
We share personal data only with the service providers (“processors”) that run the site on our behalf, under their respective data-protection terms:
- Supabase — authentication and our database (account, submissions).
- Vercel — application hosting and serverless compute.
- Cloudflare — CDN, TLS, and abuse protection.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Submissions and published listing data may be retained as part of the public index. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and unpublish personal data associated with it, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or prevent abuse.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@intervals.so and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. You can also sign out at any time, and revoke provider access from your GitHub or Google settings as described above.
MCPExplorer is a tool for developers and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date; significant changes may be highlighted on the site.
