Cookie Policy
This policy explains how MCPExplorer uses cookies and similar technologies, what each kind is for, and how you can control them.
Last updated: June 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between requests — like a preference you set — and help operators understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way and are covered by this policy.
MCPExplorer is a mostly-static directory. We keep cookie use to the minimum needed to run the site and understand traffic.
| Category | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Core delivery and security — load balancing, TLS, and abuse protection provided by our CDN (Cloudflare). The site does not function without these. | yes |
| Preferences | Remember lightweight choices you make (e.g. a dismissed notice). Set only when you interact with such a control. | no |
| Analytics | Aggregate, privacy-respecting usage measurement (page views, referrers) to improve the index. Used only where enabled; never sold. | no |
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — every major browser lets you do this per-site or globally. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site; blocking preference or analytics cookies will not. Agent and API clients (/api/*, the markdown mirrors, /llms.txt) are stateless and set no cookies.
