Set up easyeda-copilot in Goose

communitystdiodestructive capable

AI-powered assistant for EasyEDA — generate schematics from natural language, browse LCSC components, design PCBs with custom DRC configurations, and get interactive circuit design help.

01Configuration
{ "mcpServers": { "easyeda-copilot": { "command": "npx", "args": [ "-y", "easyeda-copilot-mcp" ] } } }

Add this to ~/.config/goose/config.yaml. Generated from the captured install method (npx); the mcpServers shape is shared across Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and VS Code.

02Steps
  1. Make sure Goose is installed and up to date.
  2. Open ~/.config/goose/config.yaml and add the block above (merge into any existing mcpServers).
  3. Provide any required API keys/credentials as environment variables.
  4. Restart Goose and confirm easyeda-copilot’s tools appear.
