BacklinkGenie MCP server
Run link-building outreach from your AI assistant, one approved pitch at a time
Link-building outreach MCP — review and approve pitches, draft replies to editors, import posts to pitch and track which links went live, from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. 22 tools; nothing is sent until you confirm. Hosted at app.backlinkgenie.com/mcp (OAuth or API key).
BacklinkGenie is an AI link-building outreach agent for SaaS companies, startups and SEO agencies, with a hosted MCP server at https://app.backlinkgenie.com/mcp. It buys and warms a separate sending domain, finds relevant published posts in your niche — best-of roundups, comparison and alternatives pages, resource pages, how-to guides — verifies the editor, writes one pitch per post, follows up and re-checks every won link weekly. Through 22 MCP tools, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and n8n can review pitches waiting for approval, edit them, draft replies to editors who answered (down to the page, anchor text and sentence to add), import specific posts to pitch, and report which links went live or disappeared. By default nothing is approved or sent until you confirm the exact email, and edits pass a quality check: recipient lock, links only to your site, no paid-link offers.
Pitches you approve
list_drafts shows each pitch with the post, contact and why it fits; approve_draft queues it only after you confirm, and edits pass a quality check.
Replies that close
list_replies sorts editor answers from hot to cold; generate_reply drafts the exact page, anchor text and sentence to add, and send_reply sends it once you confirm.
Links that stay live
list_links and check_link show every won link and whether it's still live and followed; mark_link_won records new ones for weekly re-checks.
Who it’s for. SaaS founders, marketers and SEO agencies who want earned backlinks without hand-writing outreach — and want an assistant to triage pitches and replies inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.

How to read this: tool names here are observed from a live tools/list handshake. The Risk label is a heuristic inferred from the tool name (write/destructive verbs), not from executing the tool — a conservative guess, not a verified capability. We never escalate risk from a description. Found one that's wrong? Tell us — we fix on report.
